Rehearsal Dinner

Friday, January 6, 2022

6:30PM

Service Brewing Company

Service Brewing Company - 547 Indian Street

All Guests are Welcome

Casual

The wedding festivities will officially begin with a Rehearsal Dinner hosted by Pete and Maureen Wheble! The evening will be filled with locally brewed craft beer, pizza from Big Bon Bodega, and live music from our friend, Nathan Hager.

Service Brewing Company is a local brewery offering a variety of unique brews. They even have a banana beer in honor of our very own Savannah Bananas! (If you aren’t sure what the “Savannah Bananas” are then make sure to check out the “Hostess City” page.) Also, Service is veteran-owned and operated so you will notice nods to military service throughout the building. Make sure to take note of the giant parachute ceiling.

Service is a 21 minute walk (1 mile) from The Perry Lane Hotel. Savannah has pretty uneven streets so pick your shoes wisely or opt for an Uber.

Reception

Saturday January 8, 2022

Immediately Following the Wedding Service

The Olde Pink House

23 Abercorn Street

Black Tie Optional

The wedding reception will be held at The Olde Pink House.

The Olde Pink opened in 1771 and was owned by the prominent cotton merchant, James Habersham, Jr. It’s Savannah’s only Georgian mansion and housed generals York and Sherman after Savannah was gifted to President Lincoln during The Civil War. The Pink House is now a well-known restaurant that is said to be haunted by the ghost of James Habersham, Jr. If you feel a sudden chill, it’s probably just James Jr. saying hello!

The Olde Pink House is a 6 minute walk from Ascension Lutheran Church.
